Door types

Every door we replace, installed across Massachusetts.

From a drafty front door to a fogged-up slider, a new door is one of the fastest curb-appeal and comfort upgrades a home can get — and one of the most secure.

Efficiency & security

Tighter, warmer, harder to force.

Sealed against drafts

A worn door leaks heat around the whole frame. New units seal tight with fresh weatherstripping and insulated cores — you feel it the first cold night.

Low-E glass

Glass lites and patio doors get Low-E coatings and insulated panes for the same cold-climate performance as our windows.

Multi-point locking

Patio and entry doors come with secure multi-point hardware that pulls the door tight to the frame at several points.

Right-sized install

We set and shim the door square, seal it properly, and finish the trim — so it opens easily and stays sealed for years.

Door questions, answered.

What's the best entry door material for the Massachusetts climate?

Fiberglass is the workhorse for New England — it won't rust, warp, rot or dent, holds insulation well, and can be finished to look like wood. Steel is a budget-friendly, secure option, and real wood suits period and high-end homes with a bit more upkeep. We help you match material to the opening and the look you want.

Sliding, French or hinged patio doors — which should I choose?

Sliding (gliding) patio doors save space and give a wide glass view — great for tight decks and patios. French doors swing open for a wider, more traditional opening. We carry all three and size them to your opening and how the space is used.

Are new doors more energy efficient and secure?

Yes. New entry and patio doors seal far better than worn ones — no drafts around the frame — and come with insulated cores, Low-E glass and multi-point locking hardware for both efficiency and security.

Can door replacement qualify for Mass Save?

Energy-efficient ENERGY STAR doors can be part of a Mass Save weatherization project alongside windows and insulation. We help confirm what qualifies and handle the paperwork. (The federal 25C door tax credit expired at the end of 2025.)

Do you install both the door and the trim?

Yes. We handle the full install — remove the old door, set and seal the new unit, fit the hardware, and finish the interior and exterior trim. We clean up completely and walk it with you.
